"Bless the Weather"

Acrylic on Canvas.

81cm x 66cm

Painting by Russell of Miru Art Studio

This painting is inspired by the folk singer/songwriterJohn Martyn with one of his songs of the same name.

"I have a couple of albums on my 'Go To' list when life gets a bit complicated, 80's and current band China Crisis, and the late great John Martyn. They calm me!!! "

This is an adapted view of the wind turbines, North of Morpeth, Northumberland, when an approaching storm was about to hit the North East Coast one late evening in summer as the moon was rising.

"These monoliths of modern day fascinate me, I see them as an eyesore and yet I also see them as an object of beauty"
